    • Resources
We will post resources here collected from all over the internet and other sources to help you achieve anything you intend on doing in the game. These guides are usually critical and involved with players who theorycraft and put together these through big math calculations so that you may enjoy it as you please. These are in no way the right way to play the game. That is not the intention. You play the game as casual and as free as you want. You will not be judged here for any lack of focus in any of these areas.

      Introduction

The House of Guardians Forum is an FFXIV community focused on teaching, learning, and optimizing FFXIV jobs and encounters.   As MMORPG and Final Fantasy fans, we have other various channels dedicated to the common interests that most people will in this space share. We're a small community and we are continuing to grow and we'd like to make everyone feel welcome.   The founding members are Hidoshin Palazzo and me, although Hidoshin has long retired from our team and FFXIV entirely. Our current leaders are... well me right now. If you ever face any problems in the forums you can DM any available Moderator here or in-game.

A brief explanation of the threads.

      • Lounge: A more social-oriented channel where players can discuss playing their job. Shitposting and memes are fine here, but keep it to a moderate level.
      • Questions: The channel for advice, questions, and helping people improve.
      • Resources: A collection of job-related resources. Your first stop for guides, beginner advice, gear calculators, and simulators.
When you want to post a new thread: Please, always look at the threads before asking questions. Sometimes the answers to those questions are in the threads. If they aren't, feel free to ask.
